Our Indian fabric suppliers in Jaipur have access to beautiful ikat woven cotton. Thanks to google we know that “Ikat is an ancient textile technique where yarns are tightly bound and resist-dyed before being woven into cloth. This process creates signature feathered or blurry patterned designs.

We recommend washing these fabrics in cold water and hang drying (which we actually recommend for all of your garment and quilt fabrics – it’s easier on them and the environment).

Spark – these fabrics are a really versatile weight and will work for light summer pants or skirts, dresses, or a fall/winter shirt or layering piece.

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
