About the Artist

Western Wildflower Design Studio features the creative works of artist, Lindsey J. Barney, a painter, surface pattern designer and all-around outdoors woman. Lindsey grew up in the Western United States where she spent much of her childhood camping, swimming, hiking, painting, picking wildflowers, climbing mountains, climbing trees and loving every second of it. Now as a mother of three, Lindsey enjoys teaching her children to live creatively and find happiness and peace in discovering the incredible world around them.

Countless hours in nature have taught Lindsey to observe the small, exquisite details that make up plants, animals, and insects. It is these details that she strives to bring to life in her design work. Combining form, color, and line driven illustrations to bring the intricate beauty of the natural world into the spaces you love most.
