In the Jaipur area, we have also seen modern designs available from our suppliers. These might involve more complex printing methods to accommodate multiple colours, or reflect more contemporary Indian design tastes. Again, compared to the fabrics we typlically see printed in Japan or South Korea, the printing methods can be more artisanal, and the designs, updated and more complex as they are, still reflect an Indian aesthetic and palette. The cotton is still he beautiful light cambric cotton that you see in our other prints.

The scale for most of the images is around 12″ square

We recommend washing these fabrics in cold water and hang drying (which we actually recommend for all of your garment and quilt fabrics – it’s easier on them and the environment).

Spark – These prints are perfect for garment making and will transform into a beautiful top or dress.

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
