“Each fabric shows the actual brushstrokes from one of my original acrylic paintings.
When creating designs for this collection, I did not begin with the trees. I sat and cut my hand-printed papers into shapes, and I ended up with circles, triangles, little rectangles, flowers, and leaves. The leaves became the main tree pattern and the tossed trees. The other shapes became some of the coordinating patterns. Dots and a small daisy were added to round out this collection. I got carried away so I did more patterns than usual. I just couldn’t stop creating!” -Sue Penn
