This chunky corduroy is wonderfully soft, warm and a versatile fabric. Agreat option for winter trousers, dungarees, dresses, coats and skirts.

The fabric has a relatively loose weave between each wale – this helps create a beautiful drape, but when sewing seams that will be put under stress (is pockets, centre back of trousers, etc), we recommend using a fine seam tape to help reinforce the seam.

Suitable patterns include the Terra Pants, September Coat, or Sanda Coatto name but a few sewing patterns.

The wale number refers to the number of cords per inch – in this case 4.5.
The fabric has a nap, so take this into consideration when ordering.
