Holli Zollinger, new to Figo fabrics, is someone I’ve been following for years. She always has unique shapes and tackles even traditional inspiration with a modern and graphic eye. But, it’s probably her sense of colour that has kept my attention. As she said, “There is so much to be inspired by in our time. Each of my collections develops from a single idea, color or specific shape and is molded into a cohesive grouping of patterns. Coloring within the collection is an essential component to the overall story.”

We noticed Wild Cottage first because we loved the natural, subtle and warm palette. Then we responded to the nature inspireddesign elements. Her take on flora and fauna is winning us over completely.

Spark –This is a quilt waiting to happen! Make a bed quilt sized Meadowland with 1/2 yard cuts and use the last two half yards for binding and to add a little throw pillow.
